Discover the calming properties of lavender; long known to promote healing, relaxation and more.

Carol Tannenbaum

Carol and Charles Tannenbaum manage their small lavender farm in the McKenzie River Valley about ten miles east of Springfield, Oregon. Located among the pastoral beauty of hazelnut orchards and pastures of grazing cattle or romping horses, the farm adds bright color and sweet aromas to the summer experience of the Valley.
The farm’s specialty lavender products include: ‘Grosso’ essential oil and hydrosol, hand crafted soap, lotion and other skin care products, organza sachets, dried floral bunches, colorful ribbon-woven wands, dried lavender buds, and fresh bouquets in season.
The farm is open to visitors for our annual Lavender Festival the second weekend of July (Friday through Sunday) to celebrate the lavender bloom. The event is part of the statewide Oregon Lavender Farm Tour. Pick your lavender bouquet from the field or select from a variety of small lavender plants for your own garden. Local artisans will be selling handcrafted skin care products, unique jewelry, soft woven scarves and more. Enjoy food and music as you relax with the family beside the McKenzie River.
